Score Big, Read Big! Our Reading Month theme is Score Big, Read Big with a fun sports focus! Students will read all month and earn weekly prizes for meeting their reading goals and an end of the month prize!. Classes will also complete a sports-themed project for Reading Night (March 5) and earn an ice cream social in March.
Reading Goals:
Kindergarten: 1 booklet each week
1st Grade: Return little books daily
Grades 2–6: 18 Read & Responds for the month. Let’s score big by reading big!
Feature Friday Celebrating
Our Super Eagles! Congratulations to Ramona D., Jack W.T., Jordynn M., and Justice J. for earning a Book Vending Machine token and a brand-new book! These Eagles went above and beyond by doing the right thing in the classroom and showing kindness to friends. One student even stepped up to help a sick classmate — now that’s true Eagle pride!

Edwin Loe Elementary Community Open House with Parent Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 4-7pm. Join us for an evening with your student’s teachers to discuss their progress and achievements. Dinner will be provided. We look forward to seeing our families!
