The newsletter highlights the importance of recognizing suicidal ideation, which can range from passive thoughts about death to active thoughts or plans to harm oneself. It also emphasizes creating a personal safety plan, including recognizing warning signs, using coping strategies, reaching out to trusted people, and knowing emergency resources. If you or someone you know is experiencing suicidal thoughts, help is available. Call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. In an emergency, call 911. Remember: You don't have to face difficult times alone—support and help are available.
