Watch our school’s Facebook page for updates. New Town hosted the Mountrail County spelling bee on February 12th. We had two 7th graders placed in the written test and four students made it into the oral. They spelled well. We are super proud of our kiddos. The Mountrail County Spelling Bee was held on Thursday, February 12 in New Town, and our students did an outstanding job! Sixth grader Marie Pangalay placed 2nd in the written competition, and fifth grader Kiel Domingo placed 2nd in the written round. Kiel also earned 2nd place in the oral competition and will represent Mountrail County at the State Spelling Bee in March. We are so proud of their hard work and determination —they truly know how to spell success!
