The New Town Public School buses that pickup students west of the city may be running late this morning to pick up students as there is an incident slowing traffic on Highway 23 west of New Town. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Greetings parents/guardians,
State law requires school districts to conduct a fire drill in the first 10 days of school. New Town Public Schools had their drill today. However, the middle and high school building alarm system malfunctioned. As a precaution, we called the New Town Fire Department to assess the situation. After assessing the malfunction, the building was cleared for staff and students to come back in.
Staff and student safety is our number one priority, and we will continue to monitor the situation to ensure the continued safety of your children.
