At New Town High School, there are lots of tutoring opportunities available.
Lunch tutoring is every day Monday through Friday.
After school tutoring Monday through Thursday from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Saturday Academy twice a month from 9 am to 4 pm. (See attached for dates)

A note for future planning, we will have school on February 20th to make up one of the snow days in December. Please plan accordingly.

Due to amazing response, the winter academy for high school students has been extended until next week, Tuesday through Friday. The academy will continue to be held in the alternative classroom in the CTE building from 9 to 4 daily. All parents have been called and informed of their child's attendance status for the first semester. The last chance to save classes is now. Stay warm everyone!
There will be academy for high school students on December 21, 22, and 23 from 9 am to 4 pm in the alternative classroom of the CTE Center. This is a perfect opportunity to save classes from non-crediting. Check your child's PowerSchool. If they have over 7 absences in any class, they will non-credit.

There will be school tomorrow. However, we will release at 3 pm tomorrow. The anonymous threat sent through Snapchat to an elementary student is still under investigation by law enforcement. Law enforcement will be in each building to provide security all day. Access to the building will be limited to students only. Thank you for your cooperation.
Parents, students, and staff of New Town Public School: There will be no school tomorrow, December 19, 2022 due to anonymous threat that was received, We are doing this to give law enforcement time to fully investigate. There will be no practices held at the school. In addition, the holiday concert is postponed until January. Our first priority to keep all of our students and staff safe.

Remember: semester exams count as 20% of a students grade, so it is important that students are in attendance to complete those tests.
Good morning! There is Saturday Academy today at the New Town High School from 9 am to 4 pm in the high school computer lab. Please use the west door by the science room. Mr. Benner is there waiting to assist you on getting your grades up and your hours down.
There will be no school tomorrow on December 16, 2022 due inclement weather and road conditions in the rural areas. There will be no practices or activities in the school buildings tomorrow.
The basketball games that were scheduled with Mandaree on Friday, December 16th have been postponed. We will keep you updated with the schedules as soon as they have been rescheduled.
