Dear NT Family,
We are working very hard to keep our students, staff and families safe. All of our safety measures including required masks, over 80 percent of our staff are vaccinated, frequent handwashing, sanitizing stations, cleaning throughout the day, sanitizing every night, contact tracing, isolating CoVID + students and staff at home, required quarantine for close contacts, and more are working. Today, we had a mass testing event for staff. I am happy to announce that everyone tested today was NEGATIVE. We care deeply for our students and promise to continue to do our very best to keep them safe. We are also concerned about their education and believe that face to face learning is the best way to assure our students progress academically. We will continue to monitor the situation very closely and are committed to the safety protocols. If you have concerns or questions, contact your building principal. Thank you, Supt. Zietz beth.zietz@k12.nd.us

Dear New Town family: We are Covid testing all staff today as planned. At this time, we have one positive support staff and NO teachers that are positive at this time. We are following all safety protocols with masks, sanitizers, including full fog sanitization nightly of all buildings. We do have a handful of positive cases of students who are currently NOT in school and we are unaware of any cases that originated in school.
