HELP WANTED: The New Town Public School District #1 is currently accepting applications for the following coaching positions for the 2021-2022 school year.
School District: Assistant Football and Head Wrestling
The closing date for these positions is Thursday, August 12th @ Noon. Veterans Preference applies in hiring. Applicants must have at a minimum a high school diploma or GED. The successful applicants must pass a background check through ND Bureau of Criminal Investigations. Hired coaches must have their coaching permit by the first day of practice. Applications can be picked up at the school district business office. Girls Varsity and JH golf practice will start the week of August 2, 2021. All those interested please contact the coaches for details on practices, schedule times. All golfers must get their sports physicals completed.

If you get a call from 1-208-315-6733 or any other number or door-to-door solicitor, do not give them any money or information as they are not associated with the school. Please spread the word to protect our community members and families.

If any community member needs to seek shelter due to dangerous weather, the New Town Middle School/High School is available and open this evening. Please use the business office doors.
New Town High School Graduation is tomorrow at 2:00 pm in the high school gymnasium. Please remember for the safety of our elders and our community that the graduates have been given 10 wristbands each to limit the number of people by decision of the New Town School District School Board. The graduation ceremony will not be open to the general public without a wristband.
