
Parents and students this is a reminder: If you have homework to be turned in and you want the school district to pick it at your home, please call the school district office by Friday, April 3rd between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm at 627-3650. The school district will pick up homework at any residence on Monday, April 6th. Please ensure that your child’s full name and grade level is on the homework. You can also drop off schoolwork on Monday’s from 8 am to 4 pm at the east entrance of the Middle School/High School by the cafeteria. The next date for drop off/delivery will be Monday, April 13th.


Parents and Seniors of the Class of 2020: We still need several baby/kid pics and senior photos for the slideshow and yearbook. Email nancy.reimer@k12.nd.us to submit them as soon as possible.

The New Town Public School District will continue to offer a grab-and-go breakfast from 8:30 am until 9:30 am. In addition, a sack lunch will be provided from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm. The meals will be available in a school vehicle parked in the parking lot right outside the service entrance of the high school cafeteria. Four Bears Segment will deliver both the breakfasts and the lunches to their community. Please check with the Segment office for their delivery times.


Several staff members from New Town Public Schools rallied together today and delivered materials to all of the students today rather than Monday. The great thing was as soon as teachers and staff heard that help was needed, they showed up and pitched in. Proud to be an New Town Eagle!

Correction: The message sent out stated the roll out of distance learning will be Monday, March 27. It should have stated Monday, March 30. Sincere apologies.

The launch of our distance learning to the students will begin on Monday, March 27. Materials to students will be delivered via the bus routes beginning at 10:00. We ask that parents meet the buses to retrieve the materials. For students that in town and not on bus routes, materials can be picked up at their child's school office. Please call ahead and the materials will be brought to your vehicle.

Good afternoon. The NTPS will continue on contacting every family about internet access and preference of educational material for students throughout the week. If you have not received a call by Tuesday afternoon, please contact your child's school office.

This is a reminder that there is no school from March 23rd until March 31st as per the Governor of North Dakota and the executive order pertaining to school closure. School may resume on April 1st. Employees from the school will be contacting every family in the next few days to inquire about internet capabilities at home in case we have an extended school closure due to Coronavirus and we must provide distance learning.
