Reminder: The school board election for City Area #2 is Tuesday June 11, 2024 from 9 am to 6 pm.
NOTE: Due to the road construction, the elementary students are eating lunch in the cafeteria this summer. Therefore, the school election polling place has been moved down the hall to the middle school gymnasium.


Summer school will be held from June 3-26, 2024 for the elementary school and middle school from 8:45 am-12:15 pm. Summer school will be held for the high school students from June 3-28, 2024 with a special session on July 8th-19th. Due to road construction around the elementary school, all summer school classes (grades kindergarten through twelfth grade) will be held at the New Town Middle School and New Town High School which is located at 300 Eagle Drive.
The bus will be stopping at Dragswolf Village at 7:30 am and Bakersfield at 7:45 am to pick up students who wish to come to breakfast. Please remember that if your child is planning to attend summer school, he or she will need to catch the breakfast bus. All elementary and middle school summer school students who ride the bus will be returned at 12:45 pm. High school summer school students will have class from 8:45 am to 4 pm daily. Parents must provide transportation home for high school students.

The New Town Public School District announces the sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program. The Summer Food Service Program is a program of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). USDA is an equal opportunity provider and employer. Free meals will be made available to all children, regardless of family income, during the summer program. Adults may eat lunch for $ 5.00 and breakfast for $ 3.00.
As in previous years, a bus will provide transportation from Bakersfield and Dragswolf Village for the Summer Food Service Program. Don't forget! The senior class of 2024 will be having a car wash today from 2-4 at the NTHS CTE building. Cost is free-will offering. All proceeds go for spending money/luggage fees on the senior trip to NYC.



There is Saturday Academy today from 9 am to 4 pm at the CTE building with Mr. Benner today. Time is running out to get those absences down and those grades up. Remember, if your child's absences are not down to 7 or below, they will non-credit the course for the semester.


Due to the weather the date for the track meet will be tomorrow 5/17. Athletes will be released for lunch at noon and leave at 12:30.


The driver's education class during summer school has been filled to capacity. We can no longer take any more applicants.


Friendly reminder that the NTHS Awards Night will be held today, May 15th in the NTHS Cafeteria at 6:00 pm. A meal will be served.
