The vaccination clinic that was scheduled at NTHS on October 27th has been postponed to a later date. We will send out more information as we get it.


Due to icy road conditions, there will be a 2 hour late start tomorrow morning at New Town Schools. School will start at 10:30 am. Stay warm and safe everyone!


The all call and message that was just sent out was pre-scheduled to remind parents about the elementary open house. We did not cancel the message before it was inadvertently sent out when the weather hindered our plans. We sincerely apologize for the confusion.
The Open House and PTC Night at the elementary is postponed until November 1st.


The Open House/Parent-Teacher Conference Night that was scheduled this evening at the elementary school has been postponed until November 1 from 4 pm to 7 pm due to icy road conditions. Please be safe everyone!


SCHEDULE CHANGE: 2023 State Cross Country Meet
NDHSAA NEWS RELEASE: Wednesday, October 25
VALLEY CITY, N.D. – Due to the increased likelihood of measurable snow late Thursday into Friday in Jamestown and in order to clear the course to ensure the integrity of the races, the 2023 NDHSAA Cross Country State Meet will now be run on a “One-Day” Schedule Format on Saturday, October 28 Jamestown’s Parkhurst Campground/Pipestem Reservoir located at 8148 30th St SE, Jamestown, ND 58401.
The new schedule of race times on October 28 will be as follows:
Noon – Class B Girls 12:45 p.m. – Class B Boys Class B Awards Ceremony immediately following the races.
4:00 p.m. – Class A Girls 4:45 p.m. – Class A Boys Class A Awards Ceremony immediately following the races.

Reminder: The New Town Public School District School Board will be conducting its annual parent input meeting at the New Town High School cafeteria on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 5:30 pm. A meal will be served. The annual meeting is held in accordance with Federal regulations connected to the Federal Impact Aid Program. Parents are also allowed to provide input into the general K-12 programs of the school district. The school district is contemplating the name change of the elementary school. It will be seeking input on changing the name from the Edwin Loe Elementary School to the New Town Elementary School. The school board and administration will listen to parents throughout the year, but this special board meeting is for the specific purpose of hearing their input.

The New Town Police Department is asking for volunteers to assist in an active shooting exercise today at the EOC building at 9:30. This is to train our local law enforcement on handling situations to keep our community safe.


Congratulations Angel and Teagun for earning a spot in the WIBC Honor Band! Angel and Teagun auditioned against high school students from across the world and will get to spend a weekend working in Seattle, WA with some of the best musicians and educators in the world.


Upper Missouri District Health and Elbowoods Memorial Health are happy to be able to provide Influenza and Covid Vaccinations at New Town High School on Friday, October 27 from 4 to 6:30 pm.


The New Town Middle School and High School Open House /Parent Teacher Conference evening will be held on November 1, 2023 from 4 pm to 7 pm.
