The NTHS/MS has been cleared from the lockdown. At 10:35 am this morning, law enforcement received an anonymous 911 call that trigged a threat to the safety of staff and students. The building was immediately put on lockdown and law enforcement responded. Once the hallways were cleared, the building was put on soft lockdown. At this time administration and law enforcement did a room by room search and collected all cell phones from students as the threat came from a cell phone on the school's wireless network. Please be assured that we need to respond to all threats that we receive for the safety of everyone. We would like to extend special thanks to the all the law enforcement agencies, city, county, and tribal that responded so quickly. We appreciate you!

New Town High School After Prom Party! Saturday 4/5/2025 10:30p-3am NTHS Gym Join us for food, fun, and games. Prizes and gift cards will be awarded! Students must be in grades 10-12, must be eligible to participate in extracurricular school activities, but DO NOT have to attend prom. Student must pre-register at the HS office or you will not be allowed to attend the gathering! Volunteer chaperones and decorators can sign up in the HS Office. Any donations are welcome! Good afternoon the lockdown at the high school has been lifted and has been changed to a soft lockdown. This means no students can leave the building until the soft lockdown has been lifted, but they are free to move about the building to their classes.
