There will be no in school learning for the students at the elementary school tomorrow, December 8th and Wednesday, December 9th due to repairs on the heating system. The soft opening students are welcome back in the building on Thursday, December 10th. This announcement does not include the students attending at JBC. Thank you for your understanding in advance.
The New Town Schools is still operating at a soft-opening level. Special Education students and alternative students can attend on campus. Face to face tutoring is offered after school call your building principal for details.
Winter athletics and activities are currently suspended until further notice. Thank you.

New Town High School Quarter 1 Honor Roll announced
Picture retakes will be on November 20th at the NTHS gymnasium from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. This will be the last opportunity this year for photos. No money is required up front. Social distancing and sanitation measures will be taken for optimum safety for all. Be safe and SMILE!

Good Morning New Town Families,
As a precautionary measure we are closing our Middle School wing for two weeks. This means that students who are in Middle School should not come to campus. There are a few High School students who are also impacted; these families will be notified directly. This means Middle School tutoring is also suspended. The Middle School will reopen on Monday, November 16. The reason we are closing is that we have Middle School Staff who have tested positive and others who are on quarantine. We don't believe we have had any Middle School Students who have been on campus test positive. If your child has tested positive and has been on campus, please notify Principal Slayton as soon as possible. Remember children tend to not show symptoms, so you may want to consider getting your child tested for CoVID-19. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Stay well.

This is a reminder that school will be closed at 12:00 on Monday, November 2nd for a professional development training for teachers. Also, don't forget about picture day on November 2nd for middle school and high school students from 8 am to 4 pm and for elementary students on November 3rd from 8 am to 4 pm. This is to inform all parents that there will be picture day for all middle school and high school students on Monday beginning at 8:00 am. It will be a drop in service in the high school gym. Please enter through the main doors of the gym. There will be no payment required at this time as all orders will be done online after your child's pictures have been processed.
